1. About this policy

This policy explains how Advanzio, a brand of Hameem Ventures LLP ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the Advanzio platform — the Advanzio web console, the Advanzio applications for phones and computers, the connectivity modules fitted to weighing machines, and the services behind them — when you visit this website or write to us, and when we send you business messages, on WhatsApp through the WhatsApp Business Platform or by email, under the name Advanzio.

Advanzio is operated by Hameem Ventures LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN ACU-2395), with its office at B2 902, Kumar Princetown Royal, NIBM Road, Mohammedwadi, Undri, Pune 411060, Maharashtra, India. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. The platform and the messages we send

Advanzio is business software. It keeps records of weighing operations for the organisations that use it, and we collect what the service needs to work, and nothing else. Accounts are created by an organisation or its platform administrator; there is no self-service sign-up.

We send transactional messages, on WhatsApp and by email, relating to a service that you, or a business you deal with, have requested from us. These include reports generated on the platform, invoices, and notices about an account or a service. We do not send promotional or marketing messages through these channels.

3. Personal data we process

Account information. Your name, email address and role, created for you by your organisation or its platform administrator.

Operational records. The working data of the service: weighing records, item catalogues, machine registrations and their connection state, branches, and the transactions your machines report, together with any details an operator records with a weighing, which may include the name or contact details of a party to it, or a vehicle's registration number. We process these records on behalf of the organisation that uses the platform, and on its instruction.

Device and technical data. The connectivity modules report operational state — network status, firmware version, diagnostic logs — used to run and support the fleet. The applications store working data on your device so that they work offline; that local copy is synchronised with the platform when connected.

Feature configuration. The applications check a remote configuration service to determine which features are enabled for your account. This involves no advertising and no behavioural profiling.

When we send you a message on WhatsApp, we process:

1. (a) your WhatsApp phone number;
2. (b) the content of the message, including any document attached to it, such as a report or an invoice, which may contain information about you or your business; and
3. (c) the delivery information that WhatsApp returns to us about the message: whether it was sent, delivered, read or could not be delivered, the time of each of these events, and, where a message could not be delivered, the reason given by WhatsApp.

When we send you an email, we process your email address, the content of the message and any document attached to it, and whether the message was sent or could not be delivered.

Where your phone number or email address is provided to us by a business you deal with, such as a customer of the Advanzio platform, we process it on that business's instruction, for the purpose of sending you the message it has requested.

If you reply to one of our WhatsApp messages, we record that a reply was received and its type, such as text or image. We do not store the content of your reply or your phone number as part of that record, and we do not use replies for any other purpose. These numbers are not monitored for correspondence. To contact us, please use the details in section 11.

When you visit this website. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. When it serves a page, the provider that hosts it records technical information about the request, such as your IP address and browser, and your browser fetches the site's typefaces from a third-party font service, which receives the same information.

When you write to us. We process your name, your contact details and the content of your correspondence.

4. How we use personal data

We use the personal data described in section 3 only to:

1. (a) provide, operate and support the platform for the organisations that use it;
2. (b) send the messages that you, or a business you deal with, have requested;
3. (c) confirm whether those messages were delivered, and investigate messages that could not be delivered;
4. (d) maintain records of the messages sent, as part of the service we provide to the business that requested them;
5. (e) respond to your correspondence; and
6. (f) comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. The applications contain no behavioural tracking and no third-party analytics.

5. Basis for processing

We process personal data with your consent, or on the instruction of a business you deal with where that business has obtained your consent or is otherwise permitted by law to provide your contact details to us, and for the legitimate uses permitted under applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may withdraw your consent at any time, as described in section 8.

6. Sharing of personal data

Platform data and delivery records are stored with our cloud infrastructure provider, which processes them on our behalf and stores them outside India, currently in Singapore. The applications' feature configuration is served by a remote configuration service.

WhatsApp messages are transmitted through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta Platforms, which processes message content and related information in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.

Emails are sent through an email delivery service, or through the mail server of the business that requested them, which processes them in order to deliver them.

This website is hosted, and its typefaces served, by the third-party providers described in section 3.

We do not share personal data with any other party, except where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

7. Retention

Operational records are retained for the life of the organisation's use of the service, because they are the organisation's books. We keep delivery records for as long as they are needed for the purposes described in section 4, and for any longer period required by law. Documents sent to you, such as invoices, are retained as part of our business records in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

1. (a) request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
2. (b) request the correction, completion or updating of your personal data;
3. (c) request the erasure of your personal data, where it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected and its retention is not required by law;
4. (d) withdraw your consent to receive messages from us; and
5. (e) raise a grievance with us about our handling of your personal data.

You may also stop receiving messages from us at any time by blocking the sending number in WhatsApp. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 11. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in any event within the period required by law.

Where your personal data is held in the platform on behalf of your organisation, you may also make these requests through your organisation's administrator, and we may refer a request to that organisation.

9. Security

We protect personal data with reasonable security safeguards, including restricted access to the systems that hold it, encryption of data in transit between machines, applications and the platform, and verification of the authenticity of the information WhatsApp sends to us.

10. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and their representatives, and are not directed at children.
